Why?

For years, I've been drawn to taking photos of crumbling buildings, antique asphalt shingles, failing paint, and other evidenced decay. I've even had a title in hand so that when I get out of the car to take a picture of a falling down house, I can just say "decay and desuetude". Finally, I've made a home for them.

Also, I'm thrilled when people send me pictures because they've seen the decay and desuetude too.
